How is this different from buying a website + a POS + an ERP separately?
Three different vendors, three different login screens, three sets of data that don't talk. PlatePixel runs every layer on one stack — your website reads your live catalog, your POS reads your inventory, the AI layer reads everything. One brain, not three databases.
Do I have to take the whole stack?
No. Most businesses start with two or three layers — usually website + catalog, sometimes plus brand. POS, ERP, and the AI layer can come later, and they'll plug in without re-building the front. The curator above is honest about what you actually need today.
What does "AI enablement" actually mean for my business?
We don't sell one packaged "AI Copilot." We bring AI to the workflows you already have: a Claude / GPT layer over your POS data, WhatsApp automation in your voice, drafted social and review replies, demand and inventory forecasting, custom AI tools we build for your shape of work (the Salon POS in our portfolio is one example). What you get depends on what you need — the curator above shapes it.
Is the AI really working, or is this marketing copy?
In private pilot with a small group of partners across restaurants and salons. We're scaling carefully because the AI layer needs to learn your business before it's useful — usually 30–60 days of running on your real data. Public rollout: Q4 2026.
Who owns the data?
You do. Always. Your sales data, customer data, recipe data — yours to export at any time, in any format, no fees, no friction. PlatePixel never resells data, ever.
When does Retail launch?
Q3 2026. We're already building with three retail partners. If you're a boutique or speciality store interested in being an early stack, the curator above will route you to our retail team.
What happens after launch?
30 days of free care for studio layers, 90 days for full stacks. Then a small monthly care plan keeps the AI layer tuned, the platform updated, and a real human on call for the inevitable Saturday-night problem.
How does the AI layer get data from my POS?
The AI layer connects to your POS through a one-time integration we set up at launch. For platforms we already support (Petpooja, Posist, Zomato POS, and our own PlatePixel POS), it's same-day. For others, we build a bridge — usually inside a week. Either way, you don't lift a finger.
What happens if I want to leave PlatePixel?
You take everything. Your domain, your sales data, your customer list, your recipes, your brand assets — exported in standard formats (CSV, JSON, PDF), no fees, no friction. Your business is yours. Always.
